Veterinary Clinic Drives

When patients of veterinarians pass away, pet parents are sometimes left with several bags and cases of unopened and in-date food. Asha’s Food Bank can collect these items from veterinary clinics for donation to animal shelters. While the loss of a pet is heartbreaking, perhaps the repurposing of the food to animals in need can provide a bit of comfort as one grieves.

We also couldn’t have done it with out the donations from Clements High School FFA, Oyster Creek Veterinary Hospital, and Bissonnet Veterinary Hospital.

12/21/24-12/26/24

On December 21-26, 2024, we dropped off over 200 pounds of dog, cat, kitten, and puppy food to Citizens for Animal Protection, Rosenberg Animal Shelter, and Missouri City Animal Shelter. We hosted food drives at Don Cook Natatorium, Clements High School, and Fort Settlement Middle School. We were thrilled to make a huge donation to animal shelters in need!

It was such a fulfilling experience to come full circle with Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP). We adopted Asha from CAP in 2020. She has brought joy and happiness into our lives since then. This was our way of giving back to them.
